Project Head

 

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Projects Head (Design & Build) for Residence Interiors in Bangalore for one of the top Interior Design company. You will lead the projects team and be a key influence in client management and project delivery strategy for Design & Build
projects in the region and consult and showcase value proposition to existing and prospective clients and recommend the right solutions.

Specific Responsibilities:
 

Planning

  • Implement an appropriate and effective project or program management framework, incorporating necessary review processes as required
  • Define and implement criteria for control and management of the projects
  • Direct client/ end-user input throughout the project lifecycle
  • Appraise options and submit to the Client for approval
  • Manage project budget, including risk allowance
  • Monitor and control changes/variations following approval by Client

Client & account/ business management

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with client representatives, consultants, contractors, and adjoining property owners
  • Look for opportunities to improve the client’s position in regard to return and value
  • Identify new workplace trends as well as new partners to engage with by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.

Contract management

  • Chair meetings and ensure minutes are actioned in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate finalization of client accounts, provide substantiated recommendations for variations and ensure contractors and consultants are paid in accordance with contract schedules

Team management
 

  • You will manage the welfare and motivation of direct reports and provide leadership, guidance and encouragement to achieve their KPI’s.
  • Coordinate and foster teamwork between all project stakeholders
  • Practice sound people management principles to ensure that the team of staff, contractors, and partners works well and provides a supportive environment for the achievement of the project and individual objectives
  • Establish formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client and Company

Key points to succeed
 

  • You are a project management professional with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Interior Design industry and at least 5 years of leadership experience managing a team.
  • You have relevant experience in Client management
  • You have relevant experience in leading a team and management of corporate/ workplace interior fit-out / Design & Build projects.
  • You have a degree in Architecture/ Civil /Construction management or a related discipline.
  • You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • You work well under pressure and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
