We want you to: Fully engineer a product from the Industrial Design concept to production Evaluate and communicate potential conflicts beyond mechanical design such as production, component sourcing etc Communicate with customers and suppliers in an effective manner Get your hands dirty with teardowns, assembly and testing of prototypes and first articles.
Qualifications and Education Requirements We want you to: Be a BE/BTech in either Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production engineering Have experience of 3-5 years working on mechanical design and documentation of consumer electronics/appliances/medical devices or similar products Be an expert in 3d CAD modeling (PTC/Solidworks) and 2d Technical Documentation with relevant standards Have designed and engineered products for high and low volume production considering DFM and DFA. Demonstrate experience in plastic, sheet metal and pressure die cast part and assembly design. Demonstrate an understanding of electromechanical enclosure design constraints such as thermal, routing etc Have and enjoyed designing mechanisms that enhance user experience
Preferred Skills It’s an additional bonus if you: Are a post graduate diploma in Product Design and Engineering from NTTF or CIPET. Have proven expertise with PTC Creo Parametric including Mechanism Dynamics. Have worked on DFMEA Know how to do a stack analysis and deploy GD&T in your 2d documentation Have been a freelancer on Upwork or Fiverr and can provide a client testimonial
