Key Responsibilities:
● Provide leadership related to cloud transformation specifically in Application
Modernization, API Integration by leveraging AI and PaaS solutions in public
cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
● Architectural Design: Design and document target-state architectures for
modernized applications, leveraging microservices, containerization (Docker,
Kubernetes), serverless computing, and event-driven patterns.
● Hands-On Prototyping: Actively participate in building Proofs-of-Concept
(PoCs) and foundational components of the new architecture to validate
design decisions and mitigate technical risks.
● Continuously evaluate and recommend new integration technologies,
platforms (iPaaS, ESB), and tools to enhance integration capabilities and
performance.
● Partner with Google Cloud Technical Solution Architects to define the technical
execution plan during pre-sales and implementation stages.
● Lead workload and opportunity review meetings with sales and technical
teams, and provide insight into how to achieve a technical agreement and
migration strategy, working directly with our customers, partners, and
prospects.
● Work cross-functionally to resolve technical roadblocks, constraints and
product challenges affecting customer satisfaction.
● Lead a fast-paced team of cloud pre-sales and deployment engineers.
● Conduct customer workshops, discovery sessions, PoCs, and solution
demonstrations. Engage directly with prospects regarding architecture
discussions and best practices.
Required Skills:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
a related field.
● 10 yrs Experience in cloud or software engineering in PaaS, SaaS at an
enterprise technology company, or similar customer facing experience.
● 5+ years Experience in software development and architecture. A minimum of
4 years in a dedicated technical or solution architect role, focused on
application and data integration.
● 5+ years Experience in People management of a technical team including
leadership engagement and team development.
● 5+ Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and
executive leaders.
● Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences, engaging
executive-level stakeholders in business and technology transformation.
● Cloud Application Deployment: Hands-on experience designing and
deploying applications on a public cloud platform (AWS, GCP). Expertise with
serverless computing (Lambda, Functions, Elastic Beanstalk, AppFlow,
AppRunner, Fargate, CloudRun, App Engine, Firebase), containerization
(Docker, Kubernetes).
● Programming: Expert-level proficiency coding skills in Java (including
frameworks like Spring Boot) or Python (including frameworks like
Django/Flask).
● Integration Technologies: Experience with REST APIs, SOAP, and messaging
systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.).
● API Management & Security: Proven experience with API Gateways (e.g.,
Apigee, AWS API Gateway) and implementing security standards like OAuth
2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
● Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
● A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work effectively in
cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have:
● Knowledge or Basic Experience with big data and machine learning
frameworks, LLM Models.
● Proficiency with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB,
DynamoDB) databases.
