Key Responsibilities: Project engineer
Design & Engineering: Develop system layouts, detailed drawings (2D/3D),
load calculations, and equipment selection (chillers, AHUs, FCUs).
Project Management: Create project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor
progress to ensure timely completion.
Site Supervision: Perform site visits, inspect installations, and supervise contractors
to ensure compliance with design documents and safety standards.
Technical Coordination: Work with architects, structural engineers, and clients to
integrate systems with other building utilities.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain project records, prepare reports, and
ensure compliance with local building codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE).
Commissioning: Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and handover to the end-
user.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience: 3–5+ years in Projects or project execution.
Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and load calculation software (e.g., HAP).
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of systems, thermodynamics,
psychrometrics, and energy management.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
Common Job Requirements in India (Bengaluru)
Experience with Greenfield/Brownfield projects and knowledge of systems in
pharma, commercial, or residential sectors.
Ability to estimate project costs and generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Specific expertise in chilled water/hot water piping systems.
