Role: Netcool – L1/L2 Support
Skill – Should have worked on IBM Netcool product & not end user.
Location: Gurugram

Responsibilities:
- Utilize Netcool components such as Netcool Omnibus, Impact for third-party Database Integrations, Creation of Operator Views, Integration with WebServices (SOAP/REST), SNMP integrations, etc.
- Create Netcool Impact policies for correlation and enrichment requirements.
- Integrate External OSS applications Remedy/ServiceNow, Notification systems (Email/SMS), Inventory management system with Netcool.
- Integrate EMS/OSS applications into Netcool using Netcool probes and gateways.
- Perform unit testing, end-to-end integration testing, and support the deployment process.
- Support defect resolution and perform sanity testing.
- Understand complex and advanced Network Management/Monitoring concepts.
- Be proactive and preventive in problem-solving.
- Work independently on multiple tasks with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Have working knowledge of databases like IBM DB2 and Oracle.
- Understand all aspects of IT network and infrastructure management and related protocols in netcool (SNMP, MIB, CORBA, Syslog, LogFile, Vendor specific Nokia Netact, Huawei U2000, Alcatel).
- Preferred experience with Telecom domain knowledge.
- Lead and mentor junior developers in Netcool development/support projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Design and implement advanced Netcool solutions, leveraging extensive knowledge of Netcool probes, gateways, and customization options.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Netcool Impact policies, probe rules.
- Provide expertise in complex problem analysis and resolution.
- Develop and implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for Netcool development and integration.
