Required Skills & Knowledge:
Key responsibilities
- Derive/capture verification requirements and come up with verification project plan and verification strategy/methodology considering IP verification status, schedule, reuse, design skews/configurations.
- Architect test bench based on the verification/design requirements
- Review work products (test plan, test cases, test bench code etc) of junior engineers
- Collect verification metrics, status and risks to management
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of SoC Architectures
- Should have good track record and taped out more than one SoC/Subsystems
- Should have mentored team of 2-5 Engineers.
- Should have good experience in all sections of verification flow starting from verification requirements capture, test planning, test bench architecture development, test case/sequence coding test bench components/assertions coding, functional, code coverage closure and reviews
- Strong Experience in CPU/BFM(VIP) based test benches
- Excellent programming and Strong debugging skills
- Strong knowledge in AMBA AXI, AHB, APB and experience with AMBA based NIC/NoC
- Experience in High-speed protocols like PCIe 4/5, LPDDR 4/5, GDDR6, SD/eMMC and GBE
- Good knowledge on low-speed peripherals and IO interfaces.
- Good knowledge on DFT and DFD architectures
- Good knowledge and experience with boot, reset, clocking schemes and Low power
- Good knowledge and verification experience with high-performance architectures
- Should have done automation with Perl, python, make and shell scripting
