Floor Supervisor ( Furniture Manufacturing)

Basic experience – 5 – 8 years, needs to be from an interior background or should have  working experience in an interior organization, preferably Furniture Manufacturing.

Location – close areas to Peenya, Abhigere, Jalahalli, Vidyaranipura, BEL etc

Prefer – Male candidate

1)    The candidate should know the following language to speak – English, Hindi and Kannada. Additional languages welcome!

2)    The candidate should have full knowledge in Metal furniture and wooden furniture assembly, planning and component sourcing.

3)    Should know auto cad and drafting software for all production templates needed on the floor.

4)    Should have minimum 6 years of experience in production field.

5)    Should be able to plan GTM ( Go to Market Calendar) from order start date to end date to project wise. This would be approved by the reporting head. Further to  plan production and ensuring all departments are following the daily turnaround time for smooth delivery.

6)    Should fill in daily employee reports, any department running late, should ensure he /she plans for over time to finish work timely.

7)    Factory timings 9am to 9 pm with working hours 9.30 am to 7.30 pm with proper Lunch, tea breaks. Post 8pm to 10 pm OT is applicable.

8)    Should have knowledge on material calculation and good knowledge of excel.

9)    Should have a two wheeler for commuting.

10)  Should over look the procurement team for vendor material sourcing, vendor negotiations with the best interest towards the company.

11)   Over look stock tools inventory register maintained by store staff & security. Any additional  machinery needed for speed up of work  on the floor, can be indented for approval by the floor Supervisor.

12)  Floor Coordination with workers. Monthly GTM print outs to be followed and fill day to day work schedule vs completion. The reports need to be signed and submitted every Friday (weekly report, this helps in planning of factory OT)

13)  Email reports to head office when requested.

14)  Take quotations from vendor and compare prices under L1 L2 & L3 Category along with the procurement team.

15) Maintain a Vendor excel with all details of the vendor listed.

16. Should have the ability to bring in new teams, skilled workers on job work/ piece work or permanent candidature depending on the scale of the running projects.
