Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce Quality Analyst to
join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in testing Salesforce
applications, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and reliability. You will play a key role in
maintaining high-quality standards for Salesforce solutions by performing end-to-end testing,
identifying bugs, and ensuring seamless functionality across all modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing and Validation:
o Perform comprehensive testing of Salesforce applications, including functional,
regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
o Validate workflows, data flows, and business processes against documented
requirements. - Test Planning:
o Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on
business requirements.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to define test scope and acceptance criteria. - Defect Management:
o Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or other bug-tracking
systems.
o Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes. - Salesforce Expertise:
o Test configurations, customizations, and integrations within the Salesforce
platform.
o Validate Salesforce workflows, validation rules, triggers, and Lightning
components. - Automation Testing:
o Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Provar, or
similar.
o Identify opportunities to automate repetitive test scenarios for efficiency. - Documentation:
o Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, results, and test coverage.
o Provide detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders. - Collaboration:
o Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to
understand requirements and resolve issues.
o Support UAT by assisting users in testing and troubleshooting issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance/testing, with a focus on
Salesforce applications.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including:
o Custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and security settings.
o Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex testing.
Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, or equivalent.
Proficiency in bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of Salesforce testing best practices and methodologies.
Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs for integration testing.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Quality Specialist)
are a plus.
