Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate and timely financial records, including sales, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, daily journal / financial entries and bank reconciliations employing software provided (see criteria).
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

- Ensure the accurate, timely and efficient completion of client work while fostering a productive and collaborative team environment.
- Assist with tax preparation and lodgement, ensuring compliance with the Australian tax office.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits as needed.
- With experience – work on the improvement of the design maintenance and review of internal business processes for a given client. Suggest new software that may help them grow their business.
- Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial data.
- Maintain strong interpersonal skills to connect with clients and team members.
- Educate clients and manage relationships effectively.
- Follow checklists and training materials, ensuring an expert level of Australian bookkeeping is attained.
Experience, Skills Required and Other Requirements:
- Ability to work variable hours from home and our office in <add>
- Proven experience in resolving technical accounting and bookkeeping issues.
- A quiet home environment with ability to connect hi speed internet (minimum 30Mbps – which may be provided by us)
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting disciplines, including bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Self-discipline to stay updated on company and industry developments and address training needs promptly.
