Purpose and Objective
of Role

The person will be responsible for end-to-end management of non-health insurance claims,
ensuring timely, accurate, and fair settlement of claims while maintaining strong relationships
with insurers, surveyors, and clients. The role requires deep technical expertise specially in
trade credit, leadership capability, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Areas of
Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle for non-health lines, including
    motor, trade credit, property, marine, liability, engineering, and other general
    insurance claims.
  • Ensure timely and efficient claim settlements in coordination with insurers,
    surveyors, loss assessors, and internal teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the claims team on complex and high-
    value claims.
  • Liaise with insurance companies for claim negotiations, escalations, and dispute
    resolution.
  • Review claim documentation, assess admissibility, and ensure compliance with policy
    terms and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of claim status
    and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with insurers, surveyors, and
    other external stakeholders.
  • Monitor claims TATs, MIS, and reporting, and ensure adherence to internal SLAs.
  • Support audits, regulatory inspections, and management reporting related to claims.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices in claims management.

Essential Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline (Post-graduation preferred).

Functional Skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in handling non-health insurance claims and settlements,
    preferably in an insurance broking environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of general insurance policies, wordings, and claims
    processes.
  • Broking license / certification will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Client-centric approach with attention to detail
