Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with over 5 years of expertise in managing financial records, tax filings, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting skills and have knowledge of the education sector’s financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Handle IT returns, Provident Fund (PF), and Professional Tax (PT) filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory documents and returns.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and expenditure reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of financial regulations specific to the education sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in IT return filing, PF, and PSI procedures.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience working with financial processes in the education sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
