Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager with experience in the wound care market to drive sales across government, private, and institutional segments. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, established relationships with key stakeholders, and a proven ability to generate business and grow market share.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Execution:

  • Develop and implement area-specific sales plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities within assigned territory across government hospitals, private healthcare providers, and institutions.

Business Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including procurement heads, hospital administrators, and clinicians.
  • Identify and onboard new customers and institutional clients.

Tender Institutional Sales:

  • Lead participation in government tenders and rate contracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, regulatory, and marketing.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics, forecasts, and territory

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 4–5 years of experience in medical/wound care product sales.
  • Strong experience dealing with government tenders and institutional sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior exposure to advanced wound care products, dressings, or surgical disposables.
  • Existing network in key accounts across public and private hospitals.
  • Hands-on experience managing sales in both urban and semi-urban markets.
