Salary Range: ₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience & expertise)
Location: Bengaluru – Sarjapur
Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified and passionate Computer Science Professor with a PhD to teach BCA and MCA programs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to mentor students in both academic and practical aspects of computer science.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions for BCA and MCA students
- Develop and update course content as per university curriculum and industry trends
- Guide students in academic projects, seminars, and research activities
- Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and assessment activities
- Conduct internal assessments, evaluations, and examinations
- Mentor students and provide academic and career guidance
- Engage in research, publications, FDPs, workshops, and conferences
- Contribute to departmental and institutional academic initiatives
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals
- Ability to teach subjects such as Programming, DBMS, Data Structures, Software Engineering, Web Technologies, etc.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Student-focused teaching approach
- Research orientation and academic discipline
- Familiarity with outcome-based education (OBE) and modern teaching methodologies
Eligibility Criteria
- PhD completed in Computer Science / IT or relevant discipline
- Minimum 1+ year of teaching experience in a recognized college or university
- NET / SET qualification (if applicable as per university norms) will be an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience handling both undergraduate (BCA) and postgraduate (MCA) classes
- Publication in reputed journals or conferences
- Willingness to take academic ownership and contribute beyond classroom teaching
