Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support & Solution Design:
- Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide
technical solutions. - Design and propose network infrastructure solutions, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-
WAN, and security solutions. - Conduct site surveys, network assessments, and proof of concepts (POCs).
- Assist in preparing RFP/RFI responses and technical documentation.
- Should act as interface to customers and is responsible to ensure that projects are
designed for execution schedule, budget and customer technical specification
requirements.
Customer Engagement & Presentations: - Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for customers.
- Provide consultative guidance on networking technologies and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with customers to define their network architecture and migration
strategies.
Proposal & Documentation: - Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), solution architecture documents, and network design
diagrams. - Assist in drafting proposals, SoW (Statement of Work), and business cases.
- Work with OEMs and vendors to optimize solutions and pricing.
Technology & Market Awareness: - Stay updated with the latest trends in networking (SD-WAN, Cloud Networking, Network
Security, etc.). - Evaluate new technologies and recommend suitable solutions for customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to enhance product knowledge.
Required Skills & Experience: - Strong knowledge of networking technologies: Routing, Switching, Firewalls, VPNs,
Load Balancers, SD-WAN, MPLS, and WLAN. - Knowledge in VoIP solutions
- Experience with networking vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE,
or equivalent. - Understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting and solution architecture.
- Good communication and presentation skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory): - Cisco: CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise, Security)
- Juniper: JNCIA / JNCIP
- Fortinet: NSE 4 / NSE 5
- Palo Alto: PCNSA / PCNSE
- ITIL or other pre-sales-related certifications are a plus.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Power Point, excel, word etc.
