Job Description – ADAS / Infotainment System HIL Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ADAS / Infotainment System HIL Engineer with strong exposure to
automotive embedded systems and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. The role involves testing and
validating Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and complex vehicle functions in a realistic, real-time simulated
environment.
Experience: 3 to 6 Years
Notice Period: 15 Days
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HIL testing for ADAS or Infotainment automotive systems.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Validate ECU software functionality in real-time simulated environments.
- Configure, integrate, and operate dSPACE HIL systems.
- Use IPG CarMaker for vehicle dynamics simulation and functional validation.
- Work with ADTF tools for signal processing, data visualization, and validation.
- Execute system-level, integration, and regression testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with system, software, and validation teams.
- Prepare detailed test reports and validation documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Experience in ADAS or Infotainment automotive domain.
- Hands-on expertise with dSPACE HIL systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting for test automation.
- Experience working with ADTF framework/tools.
- Hands-on experience with IPG CarMaker software.
- Strong knowledge of ECU testing and validation.
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Familiarity with real-time simulation environments.
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
