DAX Admin – 4+yrs Exp (Min 2yrs in AX 2012) – Bangalore – 1.5L PM

Positions: DAX Admin 

Mandatory Skills: Minimum 2 yrs experience AX 2012

Location: Bangalore

Mode of Hire: Contract (6 months extendable)

Mode of Work : WFO

Rates: Max 1.5L/PM

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development & Customization:
   o Design, develop, and customize solutions within Microsoft Dynamics
   AX 2012.
   o Create technical designs for application enhancements and
   modifications.
   o Implement AX customizations using X++, MorphX, and SSRS reports.
2. Integration:
   o Develop and maintain integrations between AX 2012 and other
   systems using AIF (Application Integration Framework), Web
   Services, and Data Entities.
   o Configure and manage integration endpoints (like external databases
   or applications).
3. Debugging & Support:
   o Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing AX 2012 implementations.
   o Provide technical support to resolve system issues, collaborating with
   functional consultants and users.
4. Performance Tuning:
   o Conduct system performance tuning, database optimization, and
   troubleshooting.
   o Monitor and resolve performance issues in AX 2012 using SQL
   Server, AOS configuration, and AX performance tools.
5. Data Migration:
   o Plan and execute data migration processes from legacy systems to AX
   2012.
   o Utilize Data Import/Export Framework (DIXF) and other tools to
   facilitate data transformation.
6. Collaboration:
   o Work closely with functional teams to understand business
   requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
   o Collaborate in AX implementations, upgrades, and roll-outs.
7. Documentation:

o Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution
designs, configurations, and technical specifications.
o Ensure all technical processes are well-documented and shared with
relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills:
 X++ Programming: Expert knowledge of X++ and development within
Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
 AIF (Application Integration Framework): Strong experience in AX 2012
integration with third-party systems.
 SSRS Reporting: Skilled in designing and developing custom reports using
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
 Data Migration: Experience in data migration using DIXF and other data
tools.
 SQL Server: Strong understanding of SQL Server and ability to optimize
database performance.
 MorphX Development Environment: Familiarity with MorphX and related
development tools.
 Performance Tuning: Proven experience in system performance
optimization, both at the application and database levels.
Experience & Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
field.
 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
development.
 Experience with at least one full lifecycle AX implementation.
 Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is a plus.
 Good understanding of ERP processes across modules like Finance,
Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
