Qualification:
PhD in Genomics / Genetics / Molecular Biology / Life Sciences
/Bioinformatics
Experience:
8–15+ years in genomics, consumer genetics, predictive health or
personalized medicine.
Proven track record in launching and scaling genomic products.
Strong exposure to NGS technologies (WGS/WES), bioinformatics
interpretation, GWAS and population genomics.
Demonstrated experience in product commercialization and business growth.
Experience handling B2B and/or B2C genomic solutions.
Scientific & Product Leadership
Lead development of consumer genomics, predictive genetics,
pharmacogenomics and personalized wellness solutions.
Identify and conceptualize new genetic panels/tests based on Indian and
global market trends.
Drive scientific validation strategies, cross-platform validation and orthogonal
testing approaches.
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies in WGS/WES, genotyping,
GWAS, population genomics and advanced sequencing platforms.
Establish stringent QA/QC standards and scientific rigor across all genomic
products and reports.
Oversee report architecture, scoring algorithms, curation pipelines and
bioinformatics interpretation frameworks.
Ensure scientific robustness aligned with regulatory standards and
accreditation requirements.
End-to-End Product Lifecycle Ownership
Own the complete product lifecycle: ideation, research, validation, regulatory
alignment, pricing, launch and post-launch monitoring.
Develop execution roadmaps with defined timelines, milestones and
accountability.
Conduct competitor mapping, market research and trend analysis to drive
innovation.
Continuously enhance product offerings based on customer insights, KOL
feedback and field data.
