Job Description: Investor Relations / Fundraising Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Overview: We are seeking a driven and experienced Investor Relations / Fundraising Manager to spearhead our efforts in securing funding for our renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, with a proven track record of successfully engaging diverse funding sources including private investors, corporate investors, pension funds, and Private Equity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive fund-raising strategies to support the company’s renewable energy projects.
- Identify and target potential funding sources, including private investors, corporate investors, pension funds, and Private Equity.
- Assist in securing financing for projects, including preparation of investment proposals and presentations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential investors, providing regular updates on the company’s progress and impact.
- Prepare and present investment proposals, financial models, and business plans to prospective investors.
- Work closely with the executive team, project managers, and other departments to ensure fundraising efforts are aligned with the company’s goals and priorities.
- Communicate financial performance and insights to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fundraising is a must, with a demonstrated track record of effective fundraising.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations, preferably in the renewable energy, real estate, or nonprofit sector.
- Strong track record of securing funding from diverse sources, including grants, investors, and corporate partners.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
- Proficiency with fundraising software and CRM systems.
