About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Finance & Accounts Executive to support day-to-day accounting operations, receivables management, and client coordination for our manufacturing client. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling accounting tasks along with payment follow-ups and occasional client visits for collections and documentation.
This role offers strong exposure to finance operations within a manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Maintain books of accounts including AP, AR, and general ledger entries.
- Process vendor invoices and customer billing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Receivables & Payment Collections
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments via calls and emails.
- Maintain accurate receivables aging reports.
- Coordinate with the sales and dispatch teams regarding pending payments.
- Visit client locations, when required, for payment collection and account reconciliation.
- Ensure proper documentation and acknowledgment for collected payments.
- Support in resolving invoice disputes and billing clarifications.
Inventory & Costing Support (Manufacturing Exposure)
- Assist in tracking raw material purchases and inventory records.
- Support stock verification and reconciliation.
- Maintain production-related cost data.
- Coordinate with stores and production teams for financial documentation.
Compliance & Documentation
- Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory filings documentation.
- Maintain financial records and organized filing systems.
- Support internal and external audits.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly receivables reports.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports and expense statements.
- Update payment trackers and financial dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in Finance & Accounts (Manufacturing industry preferred).
- Experience in receivables management and payment follow-ups.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience in Tally (preferred).
