Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Banking Collections Manager to lead and manage the collections department effectively. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to optimize debt recovery while maintaining compliance and fostering strong client relationships
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and success rate of collections.
- Set realistic and achievable collection targets for the team and monitor progress.
- Identify trends and provide actionable insights to enhance overall recovery performance.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of Team Leaders, Assistant Managers, and collection agents.
- Ensure proper training and development programs are in place for team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, address challenges, and share updates.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze collection data to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on collection activities, recovery performance, and escalations for senior management.
- Evaluate KPIs and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Address escalated issues or disputes with customers and ensure amicable resolutions.
- Develop strategies for handling high-risk and delinquent accounts.
- Negotiate settlements and repayment terms where necessary.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and recovery rates.
- Leverage technology and tools to streamline collection operations.
- Review and update collection policies and procedures regularly.
