Roles & Responsibilities:

•Serve as a Liaison Officer responsible for building and maintaining industry connections both private and public sector in Core & IT engineering companies for recruitment, internships, placements and MOUs.
•He/she will coordinate with the respective placement in charge for all institutes within the Bengaluru Campus. This ensures execution of an integrated and unified approach for training and placement.
•Coordinate & contribute to strategic CDC initiatives such as Internships, Industry compliant training/skill sets, certifications, MoUs, guest lectures, HR conclaves and “Meet & Greet” events.
•He/she needs to always keep abreast latest trends and methodologies in career development and placement which are adopted best universities /industries and implement them.
•Submit weekly progress reports to the director, summarizing company interactions, outreach efforts, leads & ongoing initiatives.
•Undertake company visits (IT/ Core) to strengthen existing partnerships and identify new placement and internship opportunities.
•Engage in active networking through email outreach, cold calls, company visits and participation in corporate or industry connect events Pan India.

•Maintain placement-related documentation such as training reports, timetables, mock interview data, FAQs, JDs and event statistics for all branches (e.g. Aero, Mech, Civil, EEE) at Bengaluru campus.
•Coordinate with vendors for timely payment processing and ensure all relevant documentation is maintained accurately.
•Follow up with students to maximize participation in training programs and placement drives.
•Achieve the assigned monthly targets consistently.

Required Skills & Competencies:
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with proficient networking and liaisoning ability with industry professionals.
•Bachelor of Engineering and MBA is desirable.
•Industry experience of 2-3 years in Career Development and HR. Or 5 years’ experience in training/placement lead in an established university.
•Integrity, positive attitude and ability to accomplish tasks assigned to desired quality and time.
•Proficiency in MS-Office.
•Good organizational and multitasking skills.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong PR skills to represent the University.
•Willingness to travel within and outside Bangalore. Flexible with working hours.
