Job Description:
The Vice President – Global Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the financial strategy, governance,
and operational excellence of the organization on a global scale. As the chief financial steward, this individual will lead
the end-to-end finance function, ensuring compliance with international financial regulations, optimizing fiscal policies,
and enabling sustainable business growth.
The VP will work closely with C-level executives, investors, and key stakeholders to provide financial insights that shape
corporate strategy. This role demands a visionary leader with expertise in financial planning, risk management, and
operational efficiency, ensuring that the company remains financially agile and competitive.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the global finance and accounting functions of the organization.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support policy-making, risk assessment, and business decisions.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure effective management control and asset
safeguarding. - Ensure global compliance with fiscal, legal, and corporate finance requirements, adhering to statutory and audit
standards. - Develop and implement a comprehensive accounting manual covering policies, procedures, authorizations, internal
checks, and controls. - Act as a spokesperson for the organization, demonstrating integrity and financial expertise.
- Implement and maintain accounting procedures and policies to drive financial efficiency.
- Prepare and manage corporate budgets, ensuring financial discipline through variance analysis.
- Establish and oversee an effective project costing system.
- Regularly monitor business projections to align financial strategies with company goals.
- Manage long-term and short-term fund planning to optimize financial stability.
- Drive profit and tax planning, ensuring profitability and compliance.
- Promote cash flow awareness, optimizing capital (both working and fixed) for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure statutory compliance in taxation (income tax, sales tax, service tax, etc.).
- Provide legal support for business contracts, agreements, and MOUs in collaboration with legal experts.
- Generate and present management reports for informed decision-making.
- Implement advanced financial accounting, costing, and MIS systems for operational excellence.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and introduce corrective actions.
- Lead commercial negotiations for procurement, hardware, trading goods, and administrative functions.
- Integrate new financial concepts and technologies to enhance accounting efficiency.
- Enhance service effectiveness and cost efficiency in financial operations
- Ensure investor and customer expectations are met regarding financial planning, audits, and balance sheet
management. - Align responsibilities and accountability within the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work
culture. - Conduct regular team meetings for planning, review, and alignment on financial strategies.

- Key Requirements
- Proven track record of 20+ years in global finance leadership roles, preferably within multinational organizations.
- Expertise in SAP HANA or any leading ERP implementation is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of global finance regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience in financial restructuring, fundraising, and capital market operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Ability to drive a culture of financial excellence, agility, and innovation.
